I am a Senior Researcher at Microsoft Research, Health Futures focusing on deep generative models for decoding the adaptive immune system. My work leverages advances in statistical machine (deep) learning, including causal inference, generative modeling, and Bayesian nonparametrics. Additionally, my recent work explores modeling approaches for complex structured biological data (e.g., survival analysis, time-series, high-dimensional sparse count data):
- Capturing Actionable Dynamics with Structured Latent Ordinary Differential Equations (UAI 2022)
- Flexible Triggering Kernels for Hawkes Process Modeling (MLHC 2023)
- AIRIVA: A Deep Generative Model of Adaptive Immune Repertoires (MLHC 2023)
