I am a Senior Researcher at Microsoft Research, Health Futures focusing on theoretically grounded deep representation learning methods for adaptive immune responses and immune cells. My work leverages advances in statistical machine (deep) learning, including causal inference, generative modeling, and Bayesian nonparametrics. Additionally, my recent work explores modeling approaches for complex structured biological data (e.g., high-dimensional sparse count data, survival analysis, time-series):
- Scalable Universal T-Cell Receptor Embeddings from Adaptive Immune Repertoires (ICLR 2025)
- AIRIVA: A Deep Generative Model of Adaptive Immune Repertoires (MLHC 2023)
- Hawkes Process with Flexible Triggering Kernels (MLHC 2023)
- Capturing Actionable Dynamics with Structured Latent Ordinary Differential Equations (UAI 2022)
